Mike Bentley is Professor of Antarctic Geoscience at Durham University. He studies the history of the Antarctic ice sheet and past Antarctic climates, on timescales ranging from decades to millennia. Much of his work uses geomorphology and cosmogenic isotopes to determine when past changes in the ice sheet happened. Mike is passionate about field science and rarely happier than when out amongst the ice and mountains of Antarctica.
