Nick is an Earth scientist primarily researching the Antarctic ice sheet using numerical models and field data, based in the Antarctic Research Centre at Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand. He's a former Rutherford Discovery Fellow and was a Lead Author on the Sixth Assessment Report of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change. Currently he leads a number of components of the MBIE-funded ‘Antarctic Science Platform’ and ‘Our Changing Coasts’ research programmes.
