Jane works as a senior technical officer in the School of Geography, Environment and Earth Sciences at Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington, where she manages a number of geoscience-focussed research laboratories.
This is her fourth trip to Antarctica and third on the hot-water drilling team where she has expertise in all parts of the operation and maintenance of the system.
