Louise Sime has worked for the British Antarctic Survey since 2006, with her research largely focussed on developing a better understanding of changes in the Antarctic ice sheet, sea ice, and climate over the last 800 000 or so years. For SWAIS 2C she will focus on how we can best link ice core observations of stable water isotopes, to the new SWAIS 2C sediment core results, to tell us about past ice sheet changes. The British Antarctic Survey will use isotope enabled climate models to help with this SWAIS 2C task.
